FACULTY: The Academy was founded by G. Scott Bowman (Major retd.) who is the Headmaster of Robert Land Academy. He is a direct descendant of Robert Land who was an early settler of the Niagara area and a man of significant achievements. The Academy was named after him in honour of his spirit of independent resourcefulness, courage and responsibility. The Academy employs over 70 men and women on staff of whom a significant number hold advanced degrees from universities across North America and Europe. The Academy employs a full time registered nurse and a family counsellor. A medical doctor, sports physiotherapist and an educational psychologist are also attached to the Academy. With a staff to student ratio of approximately 1:2, the Academy provides a fully serviced community with 24 hour supervision.
