It is with deep sadness that Robert Land Academy announces the passing of Mr. Donald Bodkin on January 1, 2012, a member of the Academy’s Board of Governors. Mr. Bodkin has been an active Governor and a strong supporter of the Academy for the past six years. He will be deeply missed by the Cadets, Faculty and members of the Board of Governors at Robert Land Academy.
He is lovingly missed by his wife Heather, their children (and spouses), and their two grandchildren. Mr. Bodkin owned and operated a successful leasing company until retirement six years ago. He was an avid boater and enjoyed traveling and gardening.
In honour of Mr. Bodkin, the flags at Robert Land Academy were flown at half mast for three days.
